What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get it deleted.
This policy explains how davonlee.com ("the site") handles personal information. It applies to everything on this website and to messages sent through its forms. Plain version: we only collect what you hand us, we use it to reply to you, and we don't sell it.
01Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through a form on this site.
- Contact details you submit — name, email address, and optionally your organization.
- The content of your message, inquiry or booking request, including any links you share.
- Basic technical data your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, used for security and aggregate traffic counts.
02How we use it
- To read and respond to your message.
- To send you a confirmation copy of what you submitted.
- To evaluate consulting, media and speaking requests.
- To send resources or updates if — and only if — you asked to receive them.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
03What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you used the contact form.
- We do not share your message with third parties except the service providers below.
04Service providers
The site runs on third-party infrastructure that processes data on our behalf: web hosting, email delivery for form notifications and confirmations, and embedded video from YouTube. These providers may process your data only to deliver their service to us.
Videos on this site are embedded from YouTube. When you play one, YouTube may set its own cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy.
05How long we keep it
Inquiry emails are retained in Davon's inbox for as long as the working relationship or conversation may reasonably continue, and then deleted on request. Subscription records are kept until you unsubscribe.
06Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), those rights are legally enforceable and we honor them for everyone regardless of location. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
To make a request, email contact@davonlee.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days.
07Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
08Security
Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive personal or financial details through a web form.
09Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
