Faith
first.

A personal note on what actually drives the work.

A note from Davon

hey — thanks for reading this.

Before the podcast, the producer credit, the book, the rooms — there is Jesus. That is not a marketing line. It is the actual order of my life. My faith is not a lane I switch into on Sundays; it is the operating system every other thing runs on top of.

Everything I get to do — Daystar, the show, consulting, writing — is downstream of a simple decision I keep re-making: I want my life to make Jesus famous. Not me. Not a brand. Him.

So when I talk about stewarding influence, kingdom connection, or building for impact, I am not talking about ambition dressed in church language. I am talking about the discipline of keeping first things first — and letting God size the platform.

If that is the room you are trying to live in too, I am for you.

The philosophy

Five things I keep coming back to.

01

Faith first, everything else follows

Every calling, platform and plan is downstream of an honest relationship with Jesus. If the root isn't right, no amount of reach fixes it.

02

Honor unlocks inheritance

Proximity to fathers, mothers and forerunners in the faith is not sentimentality — it is strategy. Honor moves you further than hustle.

03

The private life fuels the public one

What you do when the cameras are off decides how long you get to steward what happens when they are on.

04

The internet is a pulpit

Modern media is the mission field. Steward the feed like a pulpit — with preparation, purity and purpose.

05

Don't just survive — thrive

God's people aren't called to scrape by. Thriving spiritually, relationally, mentally and financially is a witness in itself.
