Everyone wants a brand. Fonts, colors, a bio that sounds impressive. None of that is worthless, but it's the wrapping — and people can tell when there's nothing inside.
A body of work is different. It's the pile of things you actually made, shipped, and stood behind. Ninety episodes. Three hundred posts. A book that took two years. That pile is what earns you a seat, because it's evidence.
The good news: a body of work is available to anybody with consistency. You don't need permission, budget, or an audience to start stacking reps. You need a rhythm you can keep on your worst week.
Pick the format you can sustain. Publish on a schedule a tired version of you could still hit. Do it for a year. The brand will catch up to the work — it always does, and never the other way around.
